Description: This course is the second semester of the two-semester comprehensive Biochemistry sequence, 99:120 and 99:130. The course covers metabolism of lipds and nitrogen-containing compounds; regulation and integration of metabolism; information transfer in procaryotes and eucaryotes; recombinant DNA techniques; and chemistry and enzymology of replication, transcription, translation, cell transformation, and regulation of gene expression. Prerequisite: 099:120.
Course Requirements: Three 2-hour examinations.
